Elby's Strawberry Pie

Elby’s Strawberry Pie

 1 ½ c. water

1 ¾ c. sugar

4 T. cornstarch

 Boil until thick and clear.  Remove from heat and add 1 (3 oz.) box of strawberry jello*.  Cool at room temperature.

 Pour over a baked pie shell (9 or 10 inch) lined with strawberries.  Refrigerate and top with whipped cream.

 * A box of sugar-free jello may be substituted.
